Incheon National University
In August 2009, Incheon National University relocated its campus to the new Songdo campus which finished its construction in the Incheon Songdo Free Economiz Zone (IFEZ) with the state-of-the-art facilities. In January 2013, University of Incheon was newly established with the name Incheon National University as the National University Corporation of Korea.
With Incheon Airport, Incheon Port, and Songdo IFEZ which has been selected to host the world organizations, Green Climate Fund (GCF) and World Bank Group Korea Office, Incheon National University is now actively working to become the higher education hub of the Asia-Pacific region.

Incheon National University is just 20 minutes away from the Incheon Airport which is the logistic and tourist hub of the East Asia.
Express buses to all major cities of Korea are easily accessible through the Incheon Bus Terminal which is only a few subway stops away from the campus. The subway station connects campus with all areas of Incheon, Seoul, vicinities, Incheon Airport, and Seoul Kimpo Airport through the Metro lines. And various city and intercity buses which are available from the campus bus stations can take you to downtown Incheon, Seoul Kangnam and Kangbuk areas. - Community
- Incheon National University has a true ecocampus environment with the Yellow sea and its mud flat lying on the southwest edge of the campus. On the northeastern side of the campus lies the magnificent skyline buildings of the Songdo IFEZ and the world renowned Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea right next to the campus buildings provides beautiful green platform. Together, the Incheon National University campus and the Songdo IFEZ area give a somewhat exotic atmosphere which makes the area a new tourist hub of Incheon Metropolitan City.

Incheon Metropolitan City has excellent manufacturing infrastructure for beauty care industry and world class international logistic facilities. Incheon also has abundant natural resources such as mud flat, various ocean plants, ginseng, and princeps which can be utilized as natural beauty care resources. The City is highly capable of networking with the world renowned cosmetics enterprises based on its proximities to China with 1.3 billion population and Japan who is the 2nd leader in the world cosmetics industry. Incheon has enormous benefit coming from the Songdo IFEZ area which is now open to the globally active bioenterprises. With this background Incheon Metropolitan City recently announced its mission as the beauty city and started the 'Venus Project.'
As part of the University Specialization Project of Incheon National University, Incheon University Marine RIS Development Agency was selected by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Korea in 2010 to create the environment for developing new high value added marine resources adjustable to the climate change. Developing new functional materials for food using the natural marine resources is also an important part of the RIS project. As a result, the Agency launched its own cosmetic brand which is now in the market.
Incheon National University Marine RIS Development Agency has various industry networks through its technological knowhow. There is no doubt that the beauty care infrastructures of the Incheon Metropolitan City, the global network of Songdo IFEZ area, and the Incheon National University Marine RIS Development Agency will contribute to the education, research, and administration of the Department of Cosmetic Science & Management of the Graduate School of Incheon National University.
