Application for Merit Scholarships
- Fill out the attached Merit Scholarship Application Form and submit it to the department office by the deadline, securing documentary evidence for each applicable extra point.
Extra points in all areas are accepted only after submitting documentary evidence.
- Submit major-related certificates and foreign language transcripts as verification
- Print out the system update input (screen) [Incheon National University Portal & Student Competency Management (STARinU) system]
- For the homeroom professor recommendation point, only if the homeroom faculty enters the counseling result in STARinU it will be recognized as a point, and the counseling result must be printed and submitted as a supporting document
Online and offline counseling applications are only accepted until 6/28/Wed, and counseling results are only accepted until the homeroom professor enters the results by 6/29/Thurs.
- Print out the course registration list from the portal and submit it to prove the number of courses in your major.
Major certifications can only be applied once during the student's enrollment (no duplicate credit for the same accreditation)
- Submission due each year: for the first semester - 15:00 of June 30, for the second semester - 15:00 of December 30
- Essentials of applying for merit scholarships
- The 1st, 2nd, 3rd year: 17 or more credits in the previous semester, the 4th year: 15 or more credits in the last semester
- Major Courses 1st year: All courses in your department
- 2nd and 3rd year: 5 courses (3 courses or more in your grade, including major retakes),
- 4th year: 3 or more courses (3 or more courses in your grade, including major retakes)
- Applicants for on-campus (merit) scholarships must be enrolled in that semester to receive scholarship benefits.
(i.e., if you register for the 2023-2 semester with a reduction in tuition and then take a leave of absence, you will receive the scholarship benefit)
