Introduction
The Department of Urban Policy and Administration has created master's program since 2012 to cultivate experts who have comprehensive thinking and creative ability to manage the city, also to study various problems and development alternatives in regards to the urban area. Furthermore, we aim to contribute to the qualitative development of urban policy and administration through the training of future-oriented human resources capable of playing a key role in urban development in the era of globalization.
Goals and Objectives
Our program aims to cultivate intelligent practitioners with expertise and practical skills in urban areas. Therefore we offer various and balanced education programs in order to strengthen the capacity of graduate students who can present theoretical in-depth studies and alternatives to various urban problems in economy, housing, transportation, environment, welfare, etc. In addition, we aim to contribute to the society by cultivating competent urban experts required by governments and several organizations such as public or research institute.

Degree-Specific Requirements
- Students must obtain a minimum of 24 credits in order to obtain a master's degree. Students can not take more than 9 credits per semester(except for the prerequisite subjects).
- Students who did not major in the Department of Urban Public Administration and the same department should take 12 credits as a prerequisite. A maximum of 2 courses can be taken for prestigious subjects in one semester.
- Students must arrange a advisor before the end of the second semester.
- Students who wish to obtain the necessary credits for the master's course and take the comprehensive examination must obtain approval from the advisor.
- Students who want to submit a master's thesis must submit their dissertation with the guidance of their advisor.
